There are two Residential Bio-gas Systems for those wanting to make there mark on the planet!

  1. BioGas Kits comprise of a green house type outer shell, made with hollow sunlight sheeting and mental supporting frame, a membrane digester with a gas storage bag combined in one, a stainless steel sink, a stainless steel outlet, a biogas filter and a biogas booster pump etc. (see below).
  2. Biogas kits comes in flat-pack form for easy freighting, and can be assembled within 30 minutes without any training.
  3. Digester are surface mounted units, there is no need for digging or heavy construction.
  4. Bio-Digester treat your organic waste locally, and use the biogas for cooking, heating, generating electricity etc. and feed the garden with nutritious liquid fertilizer you drain from the digester with a garden hose or pumped irrigation.
  5. The two smaller Digesters are more suited to family, farm, restaurant, hotel or resort to treat organic waste, such as food waste, and sewage sludge, animal waste etc., there is no limit to the size of Bio-Digester you can set-up!

  7. The single larger 3.4m3 Family Bio-Digester module kit comes packed in carton box;

In Australia ALL Methane (biogas) is released into the atmosphere from every Town & City sewerage plant, further contributing to Global warming, how much is unknown as society turn a blind eye to this fact.

In 2020, there is only one Australian company we are aware of that is Capturing, Purified & Burning this Bio-Gas to Generate electricity, this is at the Adelade sewerage plant.

For a system that over produces Bio-gas, Compressing the Bio-gas into standard LPG bottles, is a good way to have reserve bank of Green @Call Energy as needed, commonly during extended bad weather or in the wee hours of the Morning, if you have a Bio-gas Generator and an Hybrid Inverter with AGS function.

1.Brief Introduction for our Biogas Plant;

1.1 Product Description
The Residential Kits comes packed in cardboard boxes. They are surface mounted, and there is no need for digging and/or heavy construction equipment.
It can be assembled within 30 minutes by clients themselves without any training.
It is a high efficient biogas system with hollow cell sunlight sheet green house and pad for insulation and heating.

1.2 Product Application
The biogas system is applied to treating organic waste to get biogas for cooking, generating electricity etc. Besides, the biogas residue can be used as nutritious liquid or solid organic fertilizer for gardening, agriculture etc. It can save on your energy bill and garbage disposal fee!
It is the ultimate solution for families, restaurants, hotels and resorts to treat their organic wastes (food waste, sewage sludge and animal manure etc. and Clean our waste safely)

1.3 Product Composition
The product is composed of a green house made with hollow cell sunlight sheet and metal supporting frame, a membrane digester with a gas storage bag combined in one, a stainless steel sink, a stainless steel outlet.
The membrane of the digester has the characteristics of anti-aging, acid and alkali resistant and rodent resistance.
When required, a feeding pump for sewage sludge disposal can be added;
A circulating pump for raw material feeding and anaerobic digester mixing can be added;
A grinder for food waste shredding can be added.
An electric heater can be added for cold regions or periods.

1.5 Features

1) Safety Feature
There is no safety problem of the biogas digester, because they have been thoroughly tested, the biogas digester is safe, because the proportion of biogas and air will not meet the explosive conditions.

2) No Smell of Digester
There is no smell for the unit, because the hollow sunlight sheet membrane is double off in the digester, and totally closed, it can be thermal insulation to get more biogas. The biogas fermentation process is happened in the sealed membrane digester and biogas is collected, desulfurized and to be used, so there is no smell for the unit.

3) Temperature for Waste Fermentation
Normal temperature: 10~30 Celsius
Middle temperature: 30~35 Celsius
Higher temperature: 50~55 Celsius
Note: The temperatures do not go higher than 60 Celsius, or the micro bacteria will be killed.

If you are looking to test this method before committing to purchasing commercial size system, you can start by using the above 1.2m3 or 3.4m3 Plant.  The 1.2m3 Plant only requires 1m2 footprint, and easily be operated for Cooking, Lighting, Heating or would permanently operate a 4X4WD LPG Fridge/Freezer as they only require/need a small 1cm flame.

After assembling a plant, the next thing is to priming the plant, by cutting/chopping all sorts of vegetable matter with water to start the Biogas production when micro-organisms digest organic matter (biomass) under anaerobic conditions (in the absence of oxygen).

This process is better assisted if the vegetable matter is chopped up first (optional: 20lt Monster Blender available), as it assists starting the process of micro-organisms digesting the organic matter.

You will be able to see low pressure air-tight Bladder start to expand when the digester is producing methane Gas, when gas is drawn from the sealed bladder it may start to deflate, There is nothing stopping you from fitting several bladders after the digester, some can hold upwards of 100m3 of low pressure gas, the more stored low pressure gas you have allows you to simply compress more gas in one operation.

The next step is to Store the gas into a pressure vessel, like a simple LPG Tank of any size, all you need is an air compressor.

However, you can directly plumb the low-pressure line from the Digested into what ever equipment you want to use, the compressing of your biogas, simply provides you with additional gas storage if run short of organics material or you can not consume the gas as it is generated, where it is normally vented into the atmosphere via the low pressure release valve fitted between the digester and the first quick turn valve before the scrubber.

NB: If the Methane/Gas Smells, it is an indication that there is Hydrogen-Sulphides in the Methane, that is not good when storing compressed Gas in Metal LPG steel tanks, as Hydrogen-Sulphides are corrosive.  So, If the gas smells like rotten eggs, this is the first indication you need to replace the Scrubber before compressing the Methane.

As such you only need to replace the Scrubber, a scrubber should be made of non corrosive vessel jammed tight with steel wool.
