All Double Flanged Foundation Pole Holes, should have an additional 30cm depth, to provide a 30cm Cement Bed below the bottom Flange Plate !

For those looking to Dig or Auger there own Foundation holes;

  • A DAt-15 Double Flanged Foundation Pole requires a minimum 60cm Diameter Foundation Hole.
  • A Caged re-bar Foundation requires a 90cm Diameter Foundation Hole.

NB: It is important to allow an additional 30cm Hole depth, this provides a 30cm Cement Bed below the bottom Flange Plate to take the vertical load of the DAT.

We advisable to install a Earth/Ground spike at the same time, old school would be a Re-bar or Star Picket.

The Below information is required before we manufacture a DAT unit to your Specification;

1. Required Panel Clearance from the ground, when Racking is at 60 degree tilt ?

2. Tell us how many kWh of Energy you want to Generate per Day ?
